Clean Cooking Activities
GIA advises on the development, structuring, financing and delivery of infrastructure projects across energy and related sectors.
In clean cooking, our interest is focused on supporting the scale-up of bankable clean cooking markets, businesses and enabling infrastructure, particularly across emerging markets.
Our work includes market assessments, policy and regulatory analysis, commercial and financial modelling, transaction advisory, investment strategy, and implementation planning. We are particularly interested in the intersection between clean cooking and wider infrastructure systems, including electricity access, LPG logistics, transport, carbon finance, and distribution networks.
GIA has supported clean cooking and energy access work for development finance institutions and public-sector stakeholders, including assignments linked to market development, financing pathways and practical implementation models.
Partnership
GIA would like to participate as an advisory and implementation support partner. We can contribute strategic, commercial and financial expertise to help shape investable clean cooking programmes and partnerships, having worked on several projects on DFIs such as the World Bank in this sector. This includes market analysis, business case development, financial modelling, investor materials, transaction support, infrastructure planning, and the design of scalable delivery models.
