Beneath the Surface: Understanding the Nature of Electric Induction Adoption in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Induction stoves are a relatively new cooking appliance in Tanzania. While their popularity is growing, there is a need to understand on what it takes to accelerate their use and expand their uptake.
This report tells the story of what that adoption journey looks like in practice, drawing on the User Insights Lab鈥檚 ethnographic visits to 30 households across Dar es Salaam.
