Africa Women and Children Conference 2025
Themed 鈥淵oung Voices, Innovative Ideas, Greater Impact for Africa,鈥� the 2025 edition of the Africa Women and Children Conference (AFRIWOCC) is focused on empowering young people鈥攑articularly young women鈥攁s critical actors in sustainable development, climate resilience, and inclusive policymaking. The event convenes leaders from government, civil society, private sector, and development agencies, and aims to drive forward practical solutions that prioritize the voices and leadership of women and youth.
AFRIWOCC 2025 will feature a high-level panel on clean cooking, under the theme 鈥淔ueling Change: Accelerating Africa鈥檚 Clean Cooking Transition.鈥� This session will explore how innovation, policy, and partnerships can be harnessed to drive large-scale access to clean cooking solutions across the continent鈥攁n issue that sits at the intersection of climate change, gender equity, health, and sustainable development.
